The CR 914 Class and the South Broward Model Sailing Club cordially invites sailors to participate in the 2010 CR 914 Class Midwinter Regatta. Come Friday for registration, tune-up and South Florida hospitality.

2. RULES
The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2009 – 2012, appendix E to the RRS, rules of the CR914 Class and the Sailing Instructions.
The Sailing Instructions, and any modifications to the RRS and HMS will be available to each skipper at registration
There shall be no appeal of Judge’s Decision that could affect a boat’s promotion relegation per RRS 70.4(a).
The maximum number of entrants will be 30, this includes a total allowable number of 23 entrants in the 75 MHz band, 6 entrants in the 27 MHz band and an open number of entrants in the 2.4 GHz band.
Boats must be registered with the CR 914 class, comply with the class rules, and bear sail numbers as specified in the class rules.
Class-approved bow bumpers will be required
3. FORMAT
Saturday and Sunday races will be conducted and scored in accordance to the standard scoring system. If there is less then 15 boats registered Gold and Silver Fleet will sail together, but awards will be given separately. If the number of boats registered is 16 or more, two separate fleets (Gold and Silver) will race alternately.
We hope to race between 12 and 16 regattas weather permitting, in the event that we are only able to race 10 regattas there will be 1 throw out and if more than 15 regattas are raced there will be 2 throw outs.
4. REGISTRATION
Entries will be accepted, at your earliest convenience, using the posted Entry Form accompanied by the $50.00 entry fee on a first-come / received basis and you will be notified of your entry acceptance and frequency assignment. Final registration at South Broward Model Sailing Club (C.B. Smith Park, Shelter #17) will be Friday, February 19th 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (late registration on Saturday February 20th , 9:00 AM at SBMSC).
